First attempt...

This is my first attempt at an ombré lip...

I don't think it looks too shabby! I used Topshop's Ohh La La for the middle, Rimmel's Retro for the outer and Jemma Kidd's Monroe to line. Although the Monroe didn't really show up.

Step 1. Use a fairly hard lip balm just to moisten your lips slightly.

Step 2. Use your lightest lip shade and apply to middle of lips not going right to the edge. 

Step 3. Use a very small brush to add the darker shade around the edge and blend

Step 4. Use an even darker shade with a brush just to add some shadow.

And voila, bare in mind I am very novice at doing this I got some pretty good results. I would add a coat of Lipcote on top as well to make it stay.

Topshop and boots don't sell the shades I have used anymore unfortunately but any coral, bright red and dark red colours would be fine.
