Just watched 'Never Let Me Go'. It's about three children brought up in a seemingly normal boarding school until a new teacher is appointed and tells them the truth about why they are really there. Starring Andrew Garfield, Carey Mulligan and Keira Knightley, there was no way that I couldn't go to see it. They find out that they are specially created to be donors for terminally ill patients and that the world they live in is one where people live till they are over 100 years old. Whereas they don't get a proper life and are just organ giving machines. It was a terribly sad film most of the way through but very poignant and makes you think about the way you live your life. It's not all doom and gloom though, there is a love story that interweaves with the main plot. I think the last line of the film sums it all up...
"We all complete. Maybe none of us really understand what we've lived through, or feel we've had enough time."
