I am a social network nerd and therefore am pretty addicted to twitter. (@lornamarie) ;) And there has been a trending topic in the UK on there for a couple of days now, (a trending topic is a person,word,phrase that lots of users are talking about at the moment) about a guy called Kenneth Tong. Apparently he was on Big Brother but is now spewing hatred about women's body size and how anorexia is a good look. Here are his most recent tweets...

The only reason he is trending is because of all the hate that is being directed at him. Some say he's just doing it for attention others say he is genuinely like this. To be honest either way he is being a class A dickhead. Young women have enough to deal with from society and the media without some hasbeen shouting his mouth off about how we should all be stick thin. The only good thing about this is people are standing up to him and realising you can be happy what ever size you are. Here's some of the tweets directed at him...

The last one is from a woman speaking to Caryn Franklin, the lady who did a talk at my uni and is promoting all shapes and sizes models. Of course some of the replies are rude but this is a subject that gets people riled. I hope Twitter come to their senses and delete his account, and I'm sure karma will catch up with him one day.
