I'M IN ZANTE,ESSEX AND LONDON BITCH!

It's been rather a long time since I've done a proper update and I apologise profusely for this but for once I can say that I have been rather busy and have lots to talk about.

So you may be wondering why this blog is titled in such a way... well it's a song that we loved in Zante that actually goes "I'm in Miami bitch" but the DJ's would change it to "I'm in Zante bitch!" so yeah. I was in "Zakynthos" (Zante) for a week from 6th-13th July and my liver has only just recovered. We drank and partied for 7 days straight. These two photos don't really do it justice at all but I chose some nice onesss :). We had banter between us girls and with some boys... OH boys. Lets just say we met our fair share, mainly from Essex, ha! We met boys from Thurrock, Romford, Newcastle, Birmingham, Kent, Luton etcccc. Oh and one retard from Croydon, but that's another story. We met a hot barman at a bar called G-spot his name was Wesley. If you ever go to Zante go there and say hello :) The weather was beautiful for the whole week and although we didn't really do much sightseeing or anything of that kind I could still tell that Zante was a beautiful place. We were involved in quite a lot of drama but then again what can you expect with me and Laura? haha.

A couple of days after I got back from Zante I was really excited about going to a music festival in London called "Lovebox". I went with my brother and sister, a little family outing, awwwww. :D It was held in Victoria park in East London and it's one of the most organised and well thought out festivals I've been to. The setting was really good they had a whole "gaymers" part with a wooden treehouse and the indoor arenas had the most amazing decor. Right onto the music, we went on Friday and the headliner was Dizzee Rascal, and he was epic, as always! He had a live band behind him and he was on top form, everyone went crazy for "bonkers" and a mix of Nirvana's "smells like teen spirit" and his song "stand up tall", ah amazing! We also saw loads of DJ's and Mystery Jets, oh how I love them! All in all I highly recommend this festival.


Ha I was really excited.



The day after Lovebox was my cousins hen night, me and my sister are bridesmaids and made sure the bride had a night to remember :)

Monday 26th July me and my best friend Laura went to the iTunes festival to see Plan B and Tinie Tempah. (I won free tickets so I had to go, don't judge me) In retrospect it was actually really good! Tinie really got the crowd going with "I say Pass you say out", "pass".... "OUT". And I love Plan B, his voice is actually amazinggg. It was held in the "Roundhouse" in Camden.





Okay I'm nearly done now, seriously if you read this far you deserve a pat on the back or a medal or something. :D These are just some photos of nights out in Chelmsford, there is nothing better that getting drunk with your friendssss :D and on the occasion Chelmsford is actually alright. :)

So yeah i'm really hungover today, should really learn when to stop drinking haha. So i've been at work today and to promote our new perfume 'tuca tuca' (touch touch), me and my colleagues had to do the dance in the middle of Chelmsford high street. Was pretty embarrassing to be honest! There is video evidence which I will put up soon.
Tonight i'm going to see ECLIPSE! can't wait! :D

Okay, so it seems I need to apologise again for being such a terrible blogger. It's not as if my life is so hectic that I never have time to get to my laptop,(although my charger lead has been lost for a couple of days!) so I thought I'd update and tell you that I am going to try to update every/every other day in July!(except the week I'm in Zante ;)) You'll get bored of me I know it.

So I literally CAN NOT WAIT to see this film on Saturday, I'm watching an advance showing of "The Twilight Saga: Eclipse". I have read all of Stephenie Meyer's books religiously and am shamelessly in love with Edward Cullen and Robert Pattinson ♥



You may or may not also know that I absolutely laaaavvvvv Russell Brand! and went to see "Get Him To The Greek" today, It's worth seeing I promiseee. Okay so it's not hilarious the whole way through but there's definitely some laugh out loud scenes.



I might aswell carry on the theme of films, and mention the new Harry Potter film/s "Deathly Hallows", just WOW.

I'm in a very "bloggy" mood, ha. So I thought I'd update all you lovelies with what's going on in my life at this very moment. Well... not at this very moment because i'm just writing this and on facebook atm ha.
Anyway, the lovely staff of Lush Chelmsford have welcomed me back for the summer, and I actually love working there! I always miss everyone when I'm at Uni, and we have some amazinggggggg new products in. This new soap is called "Summer Pudding" and it looks and smells like one. I laaavvv ittttt! Smells of delicious cherriessss.

so close, yet so far.

So I'm a bit fed up atm, Need to sort my life out tbh! But there is only 15 days before the end of my first year at university :O I can't believe it, it has gone ridiculously fast. Talking of uni, at the moment we are doing a broadcast unit. For our final project we have to film a 3 minute item for a daytime show. To practice using the cameras and editing equipment we had to make a mini film asking people questions. This is our film we made :), I'm the new Alexa Chung, no?





At the weekend I went to a sleepover (yeah I'm really cool) and we made pizzas, check out our mad skillz.

general rant...

Morning! So this is basically just a general rant about my life at the moment and some thoughts about whats going on in the world. My main two stresses are my health and uni, I have had a cold for like 3 weeks now and it's making me rather miserable, but I'm determined to get rid of it in the next few days. I'm dosing up on vitamins and lotsss of water!
At Uni currently I am trying to do a piece of work that involves me interviewing somebody interesting or involved in the fashion industry and then writing a 1500 word piece. This is veryyyy difficult! I'm trying to get in contact with people and am severely running out of time. And on top of that we are being set more work that needs to be started soon, STRESSSSSSSS.

So the main item in the news at the moment is of course the volcanic ash cloud from Iceland that has grounded flights. 2 of my lecturers and many people at uni are stranded in several different places and I think people are getting aggravated now, but of course it's for everybody's safety! Also in the news is the general election, I have found myself discussing the different parties with my friends quite a lot, I think its because for a lot of us this is the first time we will vote. I'm not going to say who I'm voting for but this picture will probably give you an idea to who I'm not ;)

The town of Basildon in Essex is receiving this hollywood-like sign to try and "promote the town as a place to do business". HA. seriously how much more tacky can Essex get? Do they seriously think that erecting a massive sign on the A127 will make people think they really wanna visit?
